COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The community of Trinity Lutheran Church fosters community within Delta, Fulton County, Northwest Ohio and beyond, through a variety of events and service projects.

TLC donates time and money to Hands of Grace/Faith in Action, a non-profit organization that assists the frail, elderly and homebound of Fulton County. They occasionally prepare food for the Hands of Grace Adult Day Care Center.

TLC regularly assists the Orphan Grain Train in gathering and packing used clothing to send to those in need throughout the world.

TLC contributes volunteer time, food and monetary donations to the Delta Outreach, a nonprofit organization that serves those in need of food and utility assistance.

TLC is visible in Delta’s annual Chicken Festival Parade and Christmas Parade, designing award-winning floats that will share with others the message of Christ.

Youth groups are involved with serving meals at the Cherry Street Mission; visiting residents at the Lutheran Home of Mercy and other service projects.

TLC donates time and funding towards a variety of missions, including sending an altar to a needy church in Guatemala; sponsoring a missionary family in Hong Kong; and supporting other ELCA-sponsored causes.

TLC participates in the Delta Memorial Softball Tournament, which raises funds for Delta Outreach..
