PASTOR ERIC MARKOVICH
Pastor Eric Markovich joined Trinity Lutheran Church in 2000. Pastor Eric’s influence has been felt at our church in the areas of spiritual growth through special Bible study and seminar opportunities; community outreach and fellowship; and family-oriented activities meant to help both children and parents learn of God’s grace through his Son Jesus Christ. Pastor Eric has a diverse background. He joined Trinity following ten years as pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in East Toledo. He received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus and served a chaplaincy with Long Lane Juvenile Correctional Institution in Middletown, Connecticut and was a student pastor with First United Lutheran Church, Kennesaw, Georgia. He also holds a B.A. in philosophy from Indiana University in Indiana, Pennsylvania. During his four years in Columbus, Pastor Eric served as volunteer coordinator, at Indianola Elementary; summer camp counselor for the Jewish Community Center; and night manager for Faith Mission, a homeless shelter. Additionally, Pastor Eric is a regular leader at the Boy Scout Camp, Miaconda, as well as a speaker at Delta Public Schools. He is a participating member of the YMCA and has worked with several Lutheran Outdoor Ministry sites and specialized Lutheran ministries. Pastor Eric is the father of two wonderful children – Leah and Sam. He enjoys sports, movies, and family activities, and especially enjoys the small town environment of Delta.
